summer shopping [Bambi]

It was that time of the...month again. And no, not that time. It was time for Victoria to renew her closet. The Summer season was arriving soon and she needed to stock up on cute bathing suits, shorts and pretty sandals. Under normal circumstances, she would be some place like New York buying the latest fashion from the top designers, but things had changed and now, she had no choice but to visit the local Forever 21 and see if she could find something..decent. Walking in with a purse full of daddy's money to spend, she headed to a clothing rack and began browsing besides some other girls who were doing the same.

The school year had finally ended and Bambi could finally just relax with all the difficult end of the year assignments in the past. In addition, with all those assignments there was no time to go enjoy an activity which was one of her favorites, shopping. Now that she thought about it she hadn't gone shopping in a while now, the last time she did was when she met Ariel, but it was worth passing freshman year with good grades. Now, to catch up on styles. She was currently aiming for shorts, bathing suits, and sandals. Bambi entered Forever 21, and began looking through some racks of clothing, nothing yet catching her eye.

Victoria held up a flower print bikini in front of her, trying to figure out whether she liked it or not. She thought it was cute, but unfortunately so did a few other people. The slightly disappointed girl had no choice but to put it back on the rack. There was nooo way she would be wearing the same thing as five other girls. It just wasn't happening. Not now, not ever. Just as she was about to head to another rack, something caught her eye. Well-- someone. Victoria stared at the person's face, positive that she had seen it somewhere before. And then, it clicked. "Bambi?" She asked, hoping the girl knew who she was. Assuming "the girl" was who Victoria thought she was.

Bambi removed a top that looked cute from the part that was showing and not covered by the shirt in from of it, removing it from the rack. She observed it, and sighed, it wasn't as cute as she thought it was, it had an awkward design on left side that ruined it overall. Placing it back on the rack, she noticed a girl was looking at her from the corner of her. Didn't her parents teach her it was rude to stare? She decided to ignore her and hopefully she'll look away, until the girl somehow knew her name. Bambi looked up at the girl for a moment, not knowing exactly who she was, opening her mouth and then closing it. Could it be? "V-Victoria?" other than Lacey, Victoria was a past good friend of hers in elementary school, until Bambi moved to satisfy her step-mother.

It was her and Victoria was sure of it. Not only had she remembered Victoria's name, but Bambi looked exactly like she had before. Okay maybe not exactly, but she did look very similar to her elementary school self. Victoria's face lit up at the realization that she would no longer be alone. Not being the type to make friends easily, it was especially relieving to know that she already knew someone. And not just anyone, but her once best friend. " Oh my gosh I haven't seen you since forever! What are you doing in California?" Finally, after numerous accounts of bad luck, there was something to be happy about.

Bambi never imagined to be able to see Victoria again after she had moved to a even bigger mansion in a gated community of Beverly Hills. "I missed you!" she hugged her, but not for long until she let go. Victoria was one of her best friends , including Lacey of course, since elementary school. Though they haven't seen each other in years, she still resembled her old friend. "I never moved out of California remember?" she laughed, "I just moved out of our old community."
